Into the Goddesslands, Book I is the prequel of all of Pamela Preston’s books. It chronicles the first years of her life in La Calmette 1993-1995.
The story, a composition of journal entries, vignettes, dreams, and dialogues with the archetypes begins with a one-way ticket to Paris, France. She is mysteriously led into the French countryside where she encounters the last of the noble French peasantry working and living in the old ways. Her neighbors are content in the rhythms of nature. They are unaware that they stand on the cusp of change that will alter their culture forever.

The manuscript also had a journey in the 1990’s – including four literary agents and publishing contracts that were canceled at the last moment. The pages went to rest in 1999 and were resurrected in 2009.

Here is the first edition of ten custom designed books.
Published exclusively by Marianne Press, in the Aude, France.
